A friendly shop just off the main street in Mornington. Has a good selection of equipment, Air Fills, and is opened on weekends. This is our first stop for air fills when we head out on the Penninsula. We always take a chance to look at the viz at the pier, ask them if there are any good dives they know of, then head off.

Mornington Pier Entry Point: This is the best entry point at Mornington PierMornington pier is one of our favourite shore dives along Port Phillip bay. The entry is easy, and the variety of underwater environments is amazing. Once you're under the pier and out in the open water, you can move from the rocky shoals along the pier (where many small creatures are hiding) out into large weedy beds, all in about 7-8 metres of water.

Going back around the pier, you can reach 10-12 metres at the end of the pier, and the amount of life under the pier is amazing (if not a bit spooky).

Easy for beginners, so long as you know the entry and exit procedure.
