Portsea PierI wonder if any diver certified in Victoria has NOT been to Portsea Pier? Most open water classes have sessions here and it's a good place for anyone to practice skills. The bottom is mostly sandy and the pylons are covered in colourful sponges.

Portsea Pier Rinse Off: The fresh water shower for swimmers and divers is convenient to the pier.Portsea pier is also a popular boarding point for a lot of boat dive operators. It is the most diver-friendly location on Port Phillip Bay. There is a fresh water shower for rinsing off and the public toilet block has nice HOT WATER SHOWERS! If you ever dive in Victoria during the winter you gotta love that.
