Merimbula Wharf Shore Dive
Rocky Entrance & Exit Point: Rock ledge to assist in exiting.Merimbula is on the east coast of Australia between Sydney and Melbourne. We stopped in at the Merimbula Divers Lodge for air fills. They gave us great advice and directions on how to get to the dive site. From the car park it's a short walk over rocks to an easy entry point.
If the tide and surge are just right the entry and exit are easy using the rock ledges. The rocky wall and bottom near the shore (to about 11m) mean there isn't a lot of silt and generally good visibility.

Directions
The entry point is an easy 100m walk across a rock shelf. In the satellite map, it's a lone rock platform just southwest of the cark park. There is a small "cable attachment" point embedded in the rock. It's not a bad idea to bring a rope and tie it there to ease exit.
